hello evryone.
My name is Brad, I was looking for some sumer schedule's for shoots in Maine and came across your web site. I have been into traditional archery for 20 years or more, a little new at the computer thing
Hope I am doing things right. I am on the road now on vacation cant wait to get back home, hard to find a good spot to shoot on the road. Anyway I was reading about your POKE n HOPE shoot and would be greatful for any info I could get on it, is it a weekend shoot? are there alot of shooter's?and directions, can i make reservations? I shoot a browning {firedrake} takedown RC, also have a longbow by white mountian and a few other bow's. I look forward to meeting you folks, and shooting a few arrows together- native.

Hey Brad: Welcome to our web site. If you love to sling arrows, You won't want to miss the Poke and Hope. We will have 4-20 target coarses +. We have a warriors course, ballon shoot, aireal shoot. clout shoot and the turbo hog. Lobster will be served on Saturday night for a reasonable fee. It is a weekend event. If you want to camp. You can come in on Friday July 11 to set up. Directions: From Freeport take Rt 136 north for about 6 miles. Durham R+G is on the left. Watch for signs. Hope to see you there. Welcome!! You definitely want to make the Poke-N-Hope if at all possible. It's a great shoot and a super way to meet everyone.
I'm just down the road in Carmel, let me know if you'd like to shoot sometime.

thanks for the welcome! I would like to fling some arrow's some time.
I have just returned home from a three month camping trip across the US and need some time to get affairs in order, as soon as i get things in order I will be in touch.. thanks again. brad
