After a long winter turkey season is finally here (not until next week for me).
lets see some pictures and read some stories, successful, unsuccessful,or otherwise.

Never could get into turkey hunting, since it comes down to that or fly fishing. And I just had two hens in the backyard cleaning up under the birdfeeders.


Sorry for the image being fuzzy, it was taken through a window and the glass seems to mess up the focus a bit.

have only got to hunt 2 early mornings & 2 late mornings because of work.
First day had some jakes come in but not close enough for a shot. Haven't heard much gobbling since the first of the week.Seems like the birds have disappeared,we were seeing them in our fields up until a couple weeks ago, have been hunting in the woods but can't seem to get on them. Going to give it another try tomorrow morning early,hopefully I'll at least hear some
